Perth Itinerary

I know this is so backdated but I enjoyed Perth in April. This time, bae planned the itinerary of the whole trip. For those who have not been to Perth, you just need 4-5 days for this short getaway and you get to enjoy this amazing experience down under. I have fallen in love with this place!

We stayed at this new and clean hotel named Four Points by Sheraton, along St George Terrace. It is situated at CBD area and just opposite Perth Arena. Highly recommended for modern and clean hotel with affordable price. There are alot of cafes at CBD and it is also near Watertown Brand Outlet Centre which is within walking distance.

Our first day, we went to Kings Park. We took a bus and walked from its southern part and began our 2.5 hours walking journey. We have made a note to visit Zamia cafe and we walked so long that I couldn’t feel my legs anymore.

If you are staying at Four Points, you can refer to this direction summary on how to get there:
1. From hotel, turn left walk straight turn right at Sutherland St to Sutherland St Green CAT 9
2. Take the GREEN CAT for 3 stops, alight at Colin St Kings Park Road Green Cat 16

Love the cool breeze and scenery.

I don’t know why but this path is my fave moment. So tranquil, so quiet.
We cut across this huge patch of grass and reached Zamia Cafe. Wonder how it looks like at night…
Zamia Cafe and the food + ambience is worth the long trip.

Can you see us? 🙂

We then walked for close to an hour after our pit stop at Zamia and headed on to Crawley Edge Boat Shed, which I would strongly recommended to those who wants a good OOTD shot with this iconic boat shed.

How to get back to hotel:
1. From Blue house, cross opposite to take bus 950
2. Take to William St Perth Underground station (around 6 stops, 14mins)
3. Alight, turn right and walk straight along William St, turn left to Wellington St
4. Walk straight back to Hotel

Second day was a day trip to Fremantle. We love the laidback vibes and took our time to explore this place. Visited the Fremantle market, Fremantle Prison, Cappuccino Strip (street), and took their free bus and visited 2 cafes, as usual. You may view this video for a snapshot to see Fremantle.

How to reach Fremantle:
1. From hotel, turn right walk along wellington street
2. Turn left onto Horseshoe Bridge/ william Street
3. Turn right onto Roe Street (take the stairs)
4. Turn right to Perth station
5. Take Fremantle Line to Fremantle Station (15 stops, 28mins)
6. Walk straight along Market Street to reach centre of Fremantle

An attempt of emo-momo shot

Love this view of Fremantle

Can smell their coffee beans at Roasting Warehouse! Lovely place to waste your afternoon away.

Went further down to check out this indie cafe

I missed out on this La Veen cafe that we checked out along the way before we reached Perth station. Their shashuka was off-records!

My bae with his model pose. lol

Third day, we went to Cohunu Koala Park as I wanted to find the chance to hug and carry a koala; a tick off my bucket list! I can’t remember how we get there but we took train and bus.. haha. Do your own research.

Location: Lot 103 LoNettleton Road, Byford WA 6122, Australia

I was only able to carry it for a while as it’s simply too heavy!

It was approaching late afternoon and we only managed to have brief moment to check out swan valley.

1.  From hotel, turn right walk along wellington street
2. Turn left onto Horseshoe Bridge/ william Street
3. Turn right onto Roe Street (take the stairs)
4. Turn right to Perth station
5. Take the Midland Line from Midland Station to Guildford (15mins, 8 stops)
6. Walk 9mins to Swan Valley Visitor Centre

I reckoned you need 1-2 days to fully explore this place and if you are a wine lover, then this place is for you.

Dinner at Guildford

Perth is populated with many cafes and we dropped by The Secret Garden at CBD area for a hearty breakfast.

And we found the best coffee named Moana Cafe which is situated at a level 2 shophouse..

Cafe Vinyl which is an indie, hole-in-the-wall cafe.

Consider Perth as your next getaway. Check out my IG for more photos! 🙂
