Tokyo Trip (Sakura Season)

Japan, North Asia

Another throwback of my Tokyo trip with my bae to see the amazing cherry blossoms back in 2015.

We visited quite a number of places for hanami spots – Ueno Park, Shinjuku Gyoen Park, Yoyogi Park, Chidorigafuchi Park, Inokashira Park.

Ueno Park has got to be the most popular place to go – a few steps from Ueno station, featuring more than 1000 trees lining along the street.

We went Chidorigafuchi to row a boat in the river, with sakura trees lining the river bank. It was a memorable experience.

Shinjuku Gyoen Park was not a letdown – another sakura galore! After a while, most of our photos actually look the same..

Inokashira Park was filled with swan rides and created a dreamy feel to it.

Of course, what is Tokyo without some nice sushi and sashimi? We went to Katsu Midori Seibu Shibuya while meeting up with our friend Martin.

We went on for a day trip to Hakone as well, where we saw the majestic Mount Fuji.

We got lost somehow at Roppongi and chanced upon this night illumination!

We took a lot of photos but my camera was dropped at Disneyland.. need to dig out more photos from my memory card. Till then, enjoy sakura to those who are in Tokyo now!

Wanderlust,
