Our mini honeymoon at Bali Part 3

After the exhausting day trip to Nusa Penida, we decided to take things slow the very next day. 🙂 we woke up at a later timing and had our breakfast at Montigo Resorts Seminyak.

I have to say that this is the first time I’ve ever enjoyed quite an extensive range of food options in a hotel breakfast. From omelette egg station to healthy bowl DIY booth, you name it they have it. Their hotel staff was attentive to guests in general; they even came to apologise to us as they observed that we did not finish the takeaway breakfast yesterday morning before we headed off to Nusa Penida. Such small details and they could even bothered to pay attention and offered their sincere apologies (we didn’t even complain or say anything about the oily croissants we were given). I’ll certainly recommend anyone who’s visiting Seminyak to stay at Montigo Resorts.

We spent some time by the pool and headed off for another full body Balinese massage at Spring Spa, just opposite of our hotel. Again, we fell asleep halfway through and they had to wake me up haha.

We then had our lunch at The Fat Turtle, just opposite our hotel. So happy of our convenient hotel location! I’ve always wanted to try fat turtle but finally it’s my chance. After satisfying ourselves with more local Balinese cuisine, our last stop was Pison Coffee. It totally reminded me of Revolver Cafe. I love how strong their coffee is and not too acidic. The funny thing was that we took gojek there and back with the same driver! Such a coincidence given that we spent almost 2 hours at the cafe.

So that’s the end of our mini honeymoon at Bali. It would be good to spend 1 or 2 more days there but we are saving our leaves for the upcoming long honeymoon, which is coming up in less than a week. Totally can’t wait for more adventures with hubby.

Wanderlusting,
